Computed across every currently listed residential electricity plan in the government's open energy data (each listed plan counted, including plans that share a name). Rebuilt daily from the latest plan data — last rebuilt 2026-10-18. Usage rates and supply charges include GST; seasonal plans are read at today's season; tiered rates use the first pricing tier. Feed-in rates are shown as published, with no GST added. Each plan is listed against every state it is available in, so a plan sold across a border names more than one.

Highest solar feed-in rates

The highest rate each retailer currently publishes per exported kWh (excluding closed government schemes). Capped bonus rates apply to the first N kWh per day, then drop to a base rate — a high headline rate with a small cap can pay less overall than a lower uncapped one.
