Changelog

• 28 Jul 2026 — The FAQ, disclosure, contact and changelog now have their own pages (/faq, /disclosure, /contact, /changelog) as well as the pop-ups, so they can be linked and bookmarked directly. The FAQ gained answers on how costs are calculated, why we don't quote a percentage against the reference price, and what details we ask for (none).
• 27 Jul 2026 — New look: a proper Cheaper Living logo and a calmer colour scheme, with clearer contrast on buttons, toggles and savings figures. Nothing about how plans are compared or priced has changed.
• 27 Jul 2026 — New Market prices page: cheapest daily supply charges by retailer, state and network, highest peak rates, cheapest flat and off-peak rates, and the highest solar feed-in rates across every listed plan. It's a view of what the market charges, not a plan ranking — what's cheapest for you still depends on when you use power.
• 27 Jul 2026 — The getting-started guide now only appears on your first visit, instead of returning each time. You can reopen it whenever you like with the "❔ Guide" button.
• 21 Jul 2026 — Added fallback auto-processing for a limited range of additional, non-NEM12 usage files — including Jemena's interval-data download. When your file isn't a standard NEM12, the site now tries to detect a supported format and convert it automatically.
• 20 Jul 2026 — "Your current plan" now supports multiple tariffs and multiple time windows, so more complex plans can be entered and compared.
• 20 Jul 2026 — Time-of-use plans with tiered rates (for example a window that's free for the first part of each day, then charged) are now priced tier by tier, for both usage and solar feed-in. The rates, tiers and per-tier costs are shown in Pricing & Rates and the cost breakdowns.
